Bible Study
Rev. John Zahl leads Bible Study each Wednesday at 11 a.m. in-person in the Fellowship Room and also streaming live and afterwards available on-demand at https://events.locallive.tv/worship/st-matthews-episc-ny.  We are studying the Parables of Jesus.  Join us as we explore some of these most famous passages in the Bible, teachings that are, inf fact, some of the most important teachers in the history of thought.  Have your Bible in hand.  All are welcome.

Sacred Ground
Sacred Ground: A Film-Based Dialogue Series on Race and Faith” is part of the “Becoming the Beloved Community” initiative of The Episcopal Church.  St. Matthew’s will be offering this excellent, well-paced, significant program starting in Jan. 22 for ten weeks.  Discussions may be difficult, but well worth the time and effort as we seek to understand the roots of today’s lingering societal divisions.  The vision of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s “beloved community” is its guiding star – where all people are honored, protected and nurtured.
