St. Matthew's Bicentennial Celebrations, 2004 - 2010

EarlySTM

“One of the glories of St. Matthew’s is our history, which in many ways parallels the history of our nation.  With our bicentennial events, which have been very different, we celebrate, learn from, and are challenged and inspired by our history.  Based on the work of those who have gone before, we build a glorious future for the church we love.”

                                                                        -Terry Elsberry, Rector

St. Matthew's is celebrating this venerable history with a series of events, starting in 2004, the year in which the Glebe land was purchased for the eventual establishment of the Church, through 2010, the year in which the current sanctuary was consecrated.
